In the process of CNC machining, cutting parameters are important components, reasonable choice of cutting parameters can significantly affect the energy efficiency. To improve the energy efficiency of machine tool, the characteristics of energy consumption composition characteristic of the CNC milling and in machining process are analyzed. Then the energy model of CNC milling is established, the coefficients of the model are obtained by nonlinear regression. And then a multi-objective optimization model is established, with the optimization objectives of maximizing energy efficiency and minimizing processing time. Finally, the model is solved based on Tabu search optimization algorithm, verifying the validity of the model by comparing the algorithm optimization results with experimental results.
