Mill vibration has been troubled strip rolling development for years. Existing research cannot explain the internal relationship between several kinds of rolling mill vibration. Abnormal vibration contains vertical vibration of the rolling mill, horizontal vibration of the work roll and torque vibration of the main driven system. These three kinds of vibration mode which are complex and cross effect increase the complexity of the vibration model, which is not conductive to the theoretical analysis.Through the analysis the influence horizontal force to the stiffness of the mill rolling, the establishment of function relation of the mutual influence between the mill system vertical vibration, work roll horizontal vibration and torque vibration of the main drive system, the establishment of mill system dynamics model, the paper reveals the mechanism of mill coupled vibration. Analysing the vibration characteristic, the rolling mill system parameters’ influence on vibration characteristics and confirming the existence of coupling influence with the test data to analyse the causes of the vibration in actual production. Combined with the parameters of 1580 hot rolling mill, the subject made simulation analysis. Analyze the reason of the frequent occurrence of abnormal vibration of hot-rolled strip steel and put forward the reasonable and optimized proposals.
